The last 200-hour yoga teacher training came and went in a whirlwind! It was filled with emotion, new friendships, tons of learning and also teaching!
It is always incredible to watch the students’ transformation from the first day of training until the end, when they are proficient new teachers who lead packed classes here at Blue Osa.
Watch the transformation yourself here in this daily recap:
June 2017 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Immersion at Blue Osa In Photos
DAY 1
Open up to possibility as you create space for inspiration and inner strength. Twenty yogis arrived today for the Blue Osa teacher training and are ready to unfold their best selves over the course of the next month.
DAY 2
Day 2 of yoga teacher training immersion: Whenever you start moving your body with breath, you create a shift. Heal your body through sequencing, physically, emotionally, mentally. A well sequenced yoga class has the potential to be that small pebble you throw into someone else’s consciousness. It’s the science of alchemy.
DAY 3
Practice getting out of bed every morning. That’s the beginning of your spiritual journey. You need to have an indomitable will to pursue your spiritual path.
DAY 4
Day 4 yoga teacher training immersion: Watch your thoughts without judgment. And then align your actions and thoughts so that you laser focus on what you truly want to accomplish.
DAY 5
Day 5 of yoga immersion at Blue Osa: we sat on the lawn, hearing the sound of the ocean and feeling the tropical breeze while we learned to chant the Gayatri Mantra.
DAY 6
Take the strength of each individual muscle and joint and carefully activate them in your body in order to create space during your yoga practice.
DAY 7
Cultivate a sense of indomitable will. When something doesn’t work the way you expected, try It again, over and over. That’s where the true yoga practice lies.
DAY 8
Rituals help us illuminate self-imposed limitations and fears to ultimately become fearless.
DAY 9
Where is the power of your determination? Seek simple practices. Focus on one thing and only thing only. Don’t worry about what could be on the side to distract you.
DAY 10
On a much-deserved break during our day off from yoga teacher training. Pool party anyone?
DAY 11
Paradise is any place where you find yourself able to let down all of your walls and be completely free.
DAY 12
Life is sweeter with friends.
DAY 13
The bigger your faith, the bigger your life. When you’re completely saturated with your life, there’s no room for negativity.
DAY 14
The definition of a yogi is one whose spine is full of light.
DAY 15
Where your thoughts go, your energy goes. If we can change the direction of our energy and momentum, then our thoughts will change momentum.
DAY 16
Can you shift your perspective into realizing everything is a joyful gift from Mother Earth?
DAY 17
Look for divine inspiration everywhere around you.
DAY 18
We are about half way through the program. Look at this fresh new batch of new yoga teachers who are getting close to going out there in the world to spread the love! Learn to live from a place of truth, purpose and connection and you’ll receive inspiration.
DAY 19
We’re all teachers and we are all students at the same time. Connect with people through universal truths. Become a living example of yoga.
DAY 20
Become whole and welcome everything in your life, including new experiences, new people and new places.
DAY 21
The dinner ritual at Blue Osa. Farm to table dinners taste so much better when shared with friends!
DAY 22
Thought is the most powerful thing we have and it can be our friend or our enemy. Instead, our bodies never lie. They give us wisdom to know how we are feeling with ourselves at any given moment.
DAY 23
Some of the best people in the world who take care of all of us at Blue Osa. Love and hugs from the Blue Osa family.
DAY 24
Connect with people around you though universal truths: a smile, a hug, a compliment, or by sharing your struggles, fears and insecurities without judgment and with a loving, caring attitude.
DAY 25
The definition of a yogi is one whose spine is full of light.
DAY 26
Get lost in time; that’s a form of meditation.
DAY 27
Nothing is unattainable to a focused mind
DAY 28
“Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.” ― Rumi
