HOW YOUR 200-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COULD BE THE BEST 14 DAYS OF YOUR LIFE (SO FAR)

How A 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Could Transform Your Life

Have you ever considered getting your 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at a beachfront yoga retreat in the Costa Rican jungle?

Maybe you are looking for a way to connect more profoundly with yourself and your community through the ancient teachings of Yoga?

The Blue Osa 14 Day Yoga Teacher Training is much more than just a tranquil beach yoga retreat, although there’s a reason why National Geographic’s travel team chose Blue Osa as the best trip they’ve taken in the article Oh, The Places Nat Geo Goes explaining that “few things are more peaceful than waking up to singing macaws and then walking a few hundred feet to see the sun rise over subdued waves on the beach. (But) this is life as usual on the Osa Peninsula.”

In addition to feeling like you’re living in a real life postcard, you will be completely immersed in all things yoga for two whole weeks which is bound to transform all your days to come and leave you shining in your best light!

“But how do I know if I’m ready to become a yoga instructor?

This teacher training is a catalyst for change. In this video we show you how a 14 day yoga teacher training immersion at Blue Osa will change your life.

What Can You Expect from Blue Osa’s Two Week 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training In Costa Rica?

Our teacher training is unlike anything you will find anywhere else. Steeped in the 5000 year old Himalayan tradition, we utilize the classical scriptures as the foundation for everything we do. From there, we cultivate the true essence of yoga and then transform it into a modern-day context.

This Tantra Hatha based yoga training will be the shining light that guides you towards your center. Tantra is the science of energy management and transformation in a fast and sustainable manner, getting you closer and closer to living the life you are meant to be living. One of the most special aspects of the Blue Osa Yoga Teacher Training is our focus on Applied Yoga Anatomy. Yogi Aaron has devoted countless years to studying how to transform the physical body through Muscle Activation Techniques and has created his own curriculum and certification called AYAMA™. Through these techniques, you will notice right away how much stronger you feel in your body. With this additional certification, you can be sure that you are teaching in a way that is safe, stable, and effective for your students.

Costa Rican Rainforest Jungle Adventure

Costa Rica is one of the most magical places in the world. You can find about 5% of all the world’s plants and animals right here in this tiny country. But what makes Blue Osa’s location even more special, according to the Osa Conservation is “this remote corner of Costa Rica harbors 2.5% of the biodiversity of the entire planet in less than a thousandth of a percent of its total surface area.”

But you don’t need to leave the nurturing walls of Blue Osa to enjoy the Osa’s magical and abundant flora and fauna. At any given moment and you will get to experience a whole zoo of wildlife! There are four different species of monkeys who love to play in the coconut trees surrounding our pool and spa. If you’re lucky, you may even get the chance to see the tree-climbing ant-eaters or three-toed sloths! You’re certainly guaranteed to be awed by the Scarlet McCaws soaring above you or eating in our trees. To read more about the incredible wildlife you will see when you travel to Costa Rica click here.

We also offer a variety of jungle adventure opportunities where you can experience the primary rainforest by land, air, or sea! Our guides will take you on hikes deep into the jungle where you can swim in hidden waterfalls.

For the bolder, we offer a jungle canopy tour where you can fly from treetop to treetop by zipline! Experiencing the forest from above, just like the Macaws do!

For those who love the sea, the kayak tour through the rich 80-foot mangroves is a must-see! With their incredible root system that grows above water and spreads as if by walking, this is a fascinating place to explore. Here you will experience all different kinds of wildlife in its most raw and untouched form.

Eco-lux Accommodations

Here at Blue Osa we are extremely conscious of the impact we have on this majestic land. It is very important to us that our facilities are sustainably coexisting with the environment that we are situated in. An extremely important part of walking the path of Yoga is being mindful of how we tread this earth.

“May the leaders of the earth protect in every way by keeping to the right path. May there be goodness to those who know the earth to be sacred.”   -Mangala Mantra

The way we treat the earth is a reflection of how we treat ourselves. Meaning that to offer love and respect to Mother Earth, is to in turn show ourselves the same level of care.

Another grand act of self-love is allowing ourselves to rest. In this little slice of paradise, the weather is always temperate and comfortable. All of the rooms are well ventilated so you can feel the crisp sea air flowing through each morning. Each night the waves of the ocean will lull you to sleep. The rhythm they create as they move in and out of the shore has the effect of instant relaxation.

We know you will be more than happy in our beautiful and tranquil rooms and bungalows. What makes the Blue Osa Yoga Teacher Training even more special, is the DELICIOUS, farm-grown meals we have to offer.

Delicious Food

How many times throughout your day do you have to ask yourself,

What’s my next meal?

or…

What am I going to make tonight for dinner?

Imagine spending two weeks without having to think even for a moment about what you are going to eat or when you are going to eat; what could you do with all that extra energy?

Three times a day we serve you clean, handcrafted, farm-to-table meals. Ensuring that you are fueling your body and mind with only the best ingredients

What you put into your body determines your mental and energetic state. You may come to find that eating here elevates your mood as well as how you are feeling in your body.

Meal time is a big part of your experience during your training. Not only will you treat your body to delectable, healthy meals prepared for you with love and intention, how you consume your food will be an equally joyful experience. Dining as a community and building relationships with your new soul tribe may just be the most memorable part of your time with us.

Another great way to treat yourself during Yoga Teacher Training is with our luxurious spa treatments!

We invite you to fully relax and unwind here through our massages, facials, and energetic treatments. The work we do is like medicine to your body, working in congruence with the nature that surrounds us. These treatments are sure to get you in alignment and open you up to your new environment and your studies. The time you spend at our spa will aid your mind, body, and soul is fully dissolving into the present moment.

Learning to Breathe and Be Present

Becoming conscious of our breath and tapping into the magic of breathwork is one of the most simple yet potent ways we can transform our lives.

The breath has a direct effect on the way we feel and exist in the body and mind.

Yogi Aaron shows his students exactly how harnessing the power of your breath can awaken the fire within you. Connecting you back to your unique and creative light, time and time again, through means of Pranayama, Asana, and Meditation.

We can think of no better way to recenter than by spending 14 days in morning silence, meditation and reaping the benefits of a digital detox. These practices allow us to slow down and fully absorb the magic and power of yoga.

We use morning silence as a tool to enhance our ability to listen to ourselves. It forces us into a space where we can really hear what our bodies and our hearts have to say. Journaling by the ocean or pool is a great way to spend the morning. Allowing you to get your own potent wisdom and inspiration onto paper.

During the 14 days you spend training at Blue Osa you will be following a rigid morning meditation routine. Learning how to meditate and get still in your body will completely transform you. It is in this stillness, that we are able to see the reality of life. We understand that the mind is both our greatest asset and our most valuable possession.

It goes without saying that spending time away from your phone has profound effects on the mind and body. While there is internet here at Blue Osa, we only allow access during certain hours. This digital detox will ensure that you are able to really immerse yourself in the splendor that our beachfront yoga retreat center has to offer.

Yoga Teacher Training to Grow Your Own Practice

Obviously, if you are pursuing your 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, yoga is an important part of your life. During these 14 days, you will learn not only how to teach, but also to strengthen your personal practice.

This is your chance to uncover just how life-changing the teachings and practices of yoga are to your being and your life. Dedicating two weeks of your life to the medicine that is yoga will be the ultimate act of devotion, kindness, and healing for yourself.

For many people, self-reflection doesn’t come very easily. More often than not this is because we don’t give ourselves the time to slow down and to really allow ourselves to get curious about what we are processing at any given moment.

Blue Osa’s 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is crafted as an opportunity to challenge yourself to uncover the divine residing within you. It will show you how to tap into that special place within your heart that is the essence of “you”. It’s the very same place that loves you more (and better) than anyone else ever has or ever could. For a lot of us, this is a hard concept to grapple with.

The two weeks you spend training here in the Costa Rican jungle will change you in ways you can’t imagine. We will show you how to harness the potent and divine energy that resides within you. From there, you will be able to share what you learn here with the rest of the world! Positively influencing the lives of the people around you for years to come!
