Dry Coconut Orange Sea Scrub

Taking time in your day to focus on you is so important, not only to the health of your body but also to the wellness of your entire being.

As spa expert and holistic wellness expert Marta Tuchowska points out,

“With so much stress that the 21st century provokes, people need more healing People need holistic rejuvenation.

I think that the most important thing that a person needs to do in order to achieve wellness and well-being is self-care. Spa treatments can be inspiring, especially if enriched by my suggestions mentioned above. They can also take the feeling of being burnt out and tired away, and so it is easier for a person to take action and live a healthy lifestyle.

I always say that health and wellness attract more health and wellness whereas imbalance attracts more imbalances. For example, when you feel tired and depressed, the last thing you think about is eating healthy and doing yoga. Most people would indulge in unhealthy habits.

A real spa experience, however, erases this burden away and makes it possible for you to get back on track. This is how I see it. We all need this push sometimes. Moreover, this “spa push” is a real pleasure, so very few people would procrastinate about it. There is no need to do it every day but…once a week or once a month can help.”

And what better way to settle into some personal self-care than with some personal pampering.

If your skin is in need of some softening and invigorating, look to coconuts and oranges to save the day.

Coconut oil provides deep moisturizing for the skin and helps in treating various skin problems including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin infections. Meanwhile, the high vitamin C content in oranges can do wonders for your skin. They can treat dark spots, blemishes and acne and can rejuvenate dull skin.

Here’s a fantastic scrub utilizing coconut oil and oranges that smells and feels wonderful.
